[COM Novel] I had no idea what was happening around me right then. I never even glanced at it. All I cared about was that Sora was right there, and I was reaching for him. Just a little bit more and he would make it. / Sometimes you care so much for somebody that other feelings disappear. And then, there’s no room for fear or doubt.
One prediction I really do believe is that I don’t think MoM is going to be the villain people think he’s going to be. Oh, morally VERY grey for sure, but not like. Clearly, fingers waggling like Xehanort evil, ya know? I think he’s way too intelligent for that and I also think he understands the real solution is love- or at least will be convinced it is. When he said in khux that what he’s doing isn’t about sacrifice and that he actually has a plan to bring everyone back…I think he’s being sincere. Whether he’s ultimately able to pull that off in the end I don’t know, but I think he means what he’s saying in that scene. MoM is a trickster, but he’s not a liar per se. The real villain I believe will be Luxu, and I think MoM already knows that too. Hence why he calls Luxu the traitor. He’s already seen the “betrayal”.
Oh yeah I agree. And I think if kh can give Xehanort some final moments to give up the fight and also a backstory that kinda shows how he went off the deep end from grief then it can give Luxu a similar treatment. I mean we already know some of the horrible things he’s had to witness. Kingdom Hearts is a universe that treats its villains as people with feelings in the end, whether players like that approach or not. I personally appreciate it. There’s a gentleness to kh in that way.
I think it would be funny in Missing Link had Demyx’s somebody in it. Like he’s just some keyblade wielder you can interact with in the hub and his role is the exact same as it is in 358/2 days; laze around and do fuck all
